Kerala opens its door to the first School Art Gallery in Karaparamba Government School in Calicut. The pioneering initiative ‘One School, One Gallery’ spearheaded by Kerala Lalithkala Akademi, Cultural Ministry is extending a platform to encourage creation and innovation for students, a platform for self-expression and personal growth, to challenge and explore conventional thinking and bring unique visions to life from an early age.

The space was designed by DAC as an extension to the school, followed by the Research and Resource coordination carried out by Khadeeja Zayan and Hamdan Muhammed. On 7 December 2024, Kerala’s Cultural Minister Saji Cheriyan inaugurated the space with the esteemed presence of Kerala Lalithkala Akademi Chairman Murali Cheeroth.
